At Teach Rex, we believe every child deserves a truly memorable learning experience. Our dinosaur, dragon, and animal-themed educational workshops are carefully designed to be inclusive, interactive, and sensory-rich, ensuring pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) feel safe, inspired, and empowered.
Many pupils with SEND benefit from sensory-aware approaches to learning. That’s why every Teach Rex workshop is created to be flexible, calm, and engaging, with space for pupils to participate at their own pace.
We work with pupils across the full spectrum of SEND, including those with sensory impairments, autism, ADHD, and physical disabilities.
Our delivery style is shaped by a deep understanding of how children communicate in different ways. The Teach Rex team are experienced in working with non-verbal and neurodiverse pupils and adapt their interactions accordingly.

Teach Rex has teamed up with Widgit, a leading software company passionate about symbols-based communication. Widgit empowers individuals with learning difficulties, autism, and speech impairments to communicate more independently using symbols.
Their tools, Widgit Online and InPrint, give educators, therapists, and caregivers access to a powerful symbol library—making it easy to create personalised resources like flashcards, vocabulary lists, and symbol-supported books. Together, Teach Rex and Widgit are helping students better understand the world around them.
Teach Rex has delivered workshops to dozens of SEND schools, pupil referral units and inclusion teams. Every visit is tailored in advance to meet your school’s specific needs, with plenty of opportunity to discuss your pupils, group sizes, and any individual considerations.
Our team adapts workshops for pupils with a wide range of needs, including autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, physical disabilities, and more. This inclusive approach ensures that all pupils, across specialist and mainstream settings, feel safe, supported, and inspired to engage.
We’d love to hear from you and discuss how we can support your pupils.
