Meet Fito the Orangutan
Teach Rex is excited to introduce Fito the Orangutan, a new character joining our team to educate children on sustainability and environmental awareness.
Inspiring Young Minds with Current Environmental Factors
Known as “person of the forest” in Malay, orangutans are iconic, majestic, and, unfortunately, endangered animals.
Fito’s inclusion in our workshops emphasizes the importance of understanding and addressing the environmental factors affecting the world today.
Fito will help shed light on these crucial issues, inspiring young minds to appreciate and care for our planet.
Interactive and Dynamic Learning
By weaving Fito’s story into our interactive and dynamic sessions, we aim to inspire a deeper appreciation for the natural world and the critical role each of us plays in its preservation.
Hands-On Approach to Education
As with all Teach Rex workshops, our approach is hands-on and thought-provoking, designed to spark curiosity and encourage critical thinking.
Our workshops, tailored to year groups from EYFS to Year 6, blend education with entertainment, ensuring that learning about sustainability is not only informative but also enjoyable.
Enhancing Learning with Teacher’s Pet Resources
All our workshops are carefully designed to complement the current National Curriculum. Our sessions cover English Language and Vocabulary, Science, Information Technology, Geography, and more.
This includes ancillary materials that we forward onto teachers prior to our arrival that can help the student go even further with their learning. Teach Rex has partnered with Teacher’s Pet to create downloadable cross-curricular classroom resources. These resources, designed to complement our school workshops, are age-appropriate and offer valuable support for teachers to enhance their pupils’ understanding of the key messages.
